If you completed a purchase but your Fotor Credits balance hasn't updated, don't worry—most cases are resolved quickly. Follow the steps below to check your account, confirm your payment, and find your Credits.
1. Make sure you're using the correct Fotor account
Credits are credited to the specific Fotor account that was signed in at the time of purchase. If you have more than one account, your Credits may be on a different one.
Common situations:
- You signed up with email on one device and with Google, Apple, or Facebook on another—these create separate accounts.
- You purchased on the mobile app but are now checking on the website (or vice versa) while signed in to a different account.
- You used Restore Purchase to transfer your Fotor Pro / VIP membership to a new account. Membership can transfer, but Credits do not. Credits remain on the account where they were originally issued.
What to do:
- Sign out of your current account.
- Sign back in using each login method you may have used (email, Google, Apple ID, Facebook).
- On each account, go to Settings → My Credits and check the balance.
- Once you find the account with your purchased Credits, stay signed in to that account when using Fotor's AI features.
2. Check whether the payment was successful
Before looking for missing Credits, confirm that your payment actually completed.
On the Fotor website
- Sign in and open Settings (click your profile icon in the top-right corner).
- In the left sidebar, select Payment History.
-
Look for your recent order and verify its status.
Other ways to confirm
- Check your email inbox (including spam/junk) for a payment confirmation or receipt from Fotor or your payment provider.
- Check your bank or card statement—a pending authorization does not always mean the payment has been fully processed.
- If you paid through the App Store or Google Play, open your device's purchase history to confirm the transaction status.
Payment still pending? Some payment methods (e.g., bank transfers, certain regional gateways) can take a few minutes to several hours to confirm. Credits are issued after the payment is confirmed as successful—not when you click "Pay." If your payment is still pending, wait for it to complete before contacting Support.
Subscription vs. one-time Credit purchase
Credits can arrive through two different paths. Make sure you're checking the right one:
| Purchase type | Where to check | When Credits appear |
| Buy Credits (one-time add-on) | Settings → My Credits → balance at top | Usually shortly after payment is confirmed |
| Fotor Pro / subscription plan (includes monthly Credits) | Settings → Subscription + My Credits | When the subscription payment is successfully completed and the monthly Credits are issued |
| Redeem Code | Profile menu → Redeem Code | Immediately after a valid code is entered |
3. Refresh your account and check the Credits page
If your payment was successful, your Credits may simply need a moment to sync—or your browser may be showing a cached balance.
Try these steps:
- Wait a few minutes after payment confirmation, then check again.
- Refresh the page (or close and reopen the Fotor app).
- Sign out and sign back in to force a fresh account sync.
- Go to Settings → My Credits and check your balance at the top (leaf icon + number).
- Scroll down to Credit History and look for a positive entry (e.g., +100) showing Credits earned from your purchase.
Tip: You can also click the Credit balance in the top-right corner of any page to jump directly to My Credits. Use the All Activities dropdown in Credit History to filter records.
4. If the payment was successful but Credits are still missing
If you've confirmed the payment went through, checked all your login methods, refreshed your account, and Credits still haven't appeared after 24 hours, our Support team can investigate. Please contact us or submit a request.
