Step 1: Open Settings
There are two ways to reach Settings on the Fotor website:
- From your profile menu (top right): Click your profile avatar in the upper-right corner, then select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- From the left sidebar: Scroll to the bottom of the left navigation panel and click the Settings button (gear icon).

Once Settings opens, select Account Settings from the left menu (the first item under Settings).

Step 2: Change Your Email Address
- On the Account Settings page, find the Email Address row.
- Click Change Email on the right side of that row.
- A Change Email dialog will appear. Read the notice: once updated, you will no longer be able to log in with your current email.
- Complete the security verification:
- Enter the Captcha shown in the image (click Click to refresh if needed).
- Click Get Code to receive a verification code at your current email address.
- Check your inbox for an email from Fotor. The subject line will include your verification code. Open the email and copy the code shown in the blue circle (see example below).
- Enter the code in the Enter code field on the Change Email dialog.
- Click Continue and follow the on-screen prompts to enter and confirm your new email address.

Step 3: Change Your Password
- On the Account Settings page, scroll down to the Password row.
- Click Change password on the right side of that row.
- In the Change password dialog, fill in:
- Current password — your existing Fotor account password.
- New password — the password you want to use going forward.
- Confirm password — re-enter the new password to confirm.
- Click Continue to save your new password.

Tips & Troubleshooting
I didn't receive the verification code
- Check your spam or junk folder for an email from Fotor. The sender may appear as Fotor or support@fotor.com.
- Make sure you are checking the inbox of your current account email address — the email address shown in the Change Email dialog.
- Wait a few minutes, then click Get Code again to request a new verification code.
- The verification code is valid for 60 minutes. If it has expired, click Get Code to request a new one.
